Roger Fowler Obituary

Roger L. Fowler, age 74, of Jamestown, passed at home on Friday, January 14, 2022. 

Born in Greene County on February 16, 1947, he was the son of the late Delbert and Mary Johnson Fowler. 

He is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Susan LeMasters Fowler. 

A 1965 Greenview High School graduate, Roger served in the United States Army.  He had retired from the military after 20 years of service, in 1986.  He was a retired farmer and truck driver.  In 2009, Roger retired from Twist Inc. 

He loved watching his great-grandchildren help in the barn working with the goats and helping in the garden. Roger loved Bluegrass Gospel music and cherished spending time with his beloved family. 

In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by daughters: Angela (Dan) Kelly and Christine Neville; grandchildren: Megan (Christopher) Benchic, Victoria Williamson and Tiffany Neville, Daniel (Malana) Kelly and Ty Kelly; great-grandchildren, including Danika whom they were raising in their home and affectionately referred to her as "Sweet Pea", She was the light of his life and very special to him.  Also, Hannah, Dominic, Luka, Cheyanne, Garrison, Greyson, Sylus, Kamber, Julian, and Bayne; brother, Tom (Rene) Fowler; and sister, Barbara Fowler; mother in-law, Hazel Lemasters; along with a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son, Nathaniel; grandson, Jeremy; grandparents, Fred and Beula Fowler, Leslie and Golda Johnson; and several aunts and uncles. 

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated to Port William Lumberton Senior Center and the Jamestown Church of Christ.  

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place in Silvercreek Cemetery, Jamestown. 

Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
