William "Bill" Johnson Jr.

William “Bill” Johnson Jr. of Sabina, Ohio, went home to heaven to be with his heavenly Father on January 29, 2023. Bill was born December 8, 1933, in North Wildwood, New Jersey, to William Johnson Sr. and Ruth MacBride Johnson. Bill married Norma J. Weiner on July 29, 2000, and resided in Port Charlotte, Florida, until recently. Bill retired from New Jersey Transit after driving a bus for 31 years and loved to share stories of his experiences. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed bicycling, camping, kayaking, and hiking. He and his wife Norma were world travelers and loved to cruise. Bill’s life reflected his love for Jesus by showing kindness to everyone around him. He will be missed by his family and a multitude of friends. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, and left many memories of time spent on the New Jersey shore. Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents; 1st wife, Juanita Allen Johnson; his brother Harry; and his sisters Norma, Kate, Betty, Marian, Ruth, and Lorraine. In addition to his wife, Norma, Bill is survived by his sister Ann Sauter (Melvin); his sons, William III (Martha), Thomas (Rose), Kenneth (Theresa), and Keith (Lucy); his daughters, Diane Maguire (Mike) and Sandie Linz (Mike); his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; and his dog Louie. Littleton Funeral Home of Sabina is handling arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cape May, New Jersey.
