Unfortunately, I learned of Jan's passing a bit late. Her powerful personality always kept me alert and paved the way to adventures in our work. I enjoyed her attention to detail and her creative force in our teaching adventures. She never failed to ignite an idea leading our students to greater accomplishments. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

It is very sad learning of Jan's death. She was a special friend that I had the pleasure of growing up with and knowing. I grew up with the family and they were and are special people. God Bless Jan and her family. Thank you Jan for being my friend and you will be sadly missed. Rest in peace my friend.
