We send our most sincere sympathy to Wilma's entire family. She was Jim's cousin and they and her siblings were close to Jim's family when they were children. At one time they lived with Ross and Ella and the kids while Buddy from recovering from an accident in New York state (I believe) . I met Jim through his cousin, Joyce Cole Redder, and went to the New Antioch Church of Christ with him . Wilma was very much a part of that church. She played the wedding march at our wedding along with other music. We have seen each other through the years, especially at the Hughes Family Reunions which I am so glad we have. We saw her as recently as August 13 at the reunion and then again at the 200th Anniversary of the New Antioch Church of Christ on August 21st. You never know that the last time you see a loved one, it will be your last time on earth.
What we can rejoice in is that Wilma was a Christian and has gone on to receive her eternal reward and we, as Christians, will be reunited with her one day.
I know you all have wonderful memories of Wilma. She was a very special and talented woman.
Love from Barb and Jim

Scott and family, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always an inspiration at church when I played the piano and she was on organ. She always told me not to be nervous and don't think about playing in front of a crowd. She was a great help !! She will always be remembered!

I am so sorry to hear about Wilma's passing. I just talked to her at the 200th anniversary at New Antioch Church.
I can always remember her walking into church with her bible and carrying her purse, and would play the organ/piano. She always had a smile on her face. She was a very devoted christian like her mother, Bernita was.
Prayers for your family
